Welcome to Flurys Cake Shop, an iconic café nestled at the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport in Dum Dum, West Bengal. As a cherished part of Kolkata’s culinary landscape, Flurys not only provides a quick bite for travelers but also serves a taste of tradition that’s unmistakably rooted in the city’s heritage.

Walking into Flurys at the airport, you will be greeted by the familiar charm that comes with over eight decades of baking excellence. The quaint yet functional kiosk offers a cozy ambiance where you can unwind before your flight or grab a satisfying treat on the go. The aroma of freshly baked goods melds with the comforting scent of brewed tea, creating an inviting atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease.

Flurys boasts an impressive menu that caters to a variety of palates. Indulge in their Plain Croissant for ₹220, which strikes the perfect balance between light and flaky, or opt for the delightful Cheese Garlic Toast for the tantalizing flavor sensation it delivers at ₹300. For something more filling, the Chicken and Mushroom Quiche at ₹150 is a must-try, offering a hearty blend of savory goodness — warm, creamy, and utterly satisfying.

Of course, no visit to Flurys would be complete without sampling one of their renowned teas. The Flurys Special Tea at ₹270 is a splendid infusion that embodies the rich tea culture of India. Sip on a cup of this exquisite blend as you unwind, and let the soothing flavors transport you, if only for a moment, away from the hustle and bustle of airport life.

Notable customer experiences reflect a mixture of excitement and slight reservation. One patron reflected on the quality, stating, "Flurys offers a mix of convenience and familiarity," appreciating it as a go-to for travelers, although cautioning that it may not fully embody the authentic Flurys experience found at their Park Street location. Nonetheless, the attention to detail and the consistent quality of offerings remain undeniable. As another customer noted, their almond croissant is “huge, light, and flaky,” though flavors like coffee can sometimes disappoint.

While you may encounter a few inconsistencies in taste, the convenience and comfort of having a Flurys kiosk at the airport are invaluable. So whether you’re dashing to catch a flight or leisurely awaiting your boarding call, Flurys Cake Shop provides a slice of Kolkata that is both comforting and delicious.

In summary, Flurys Cake Shop at Kolkata Airport guarantees a memorable taste of nostalgia, making it a notable stop for anyone passing through. Stop by for a bite, soak in the atmosphere, and carry a piece of Kolkata along with you on your journey.

Small kiosk and dine in area at Kolkata airport airside (after security). Flurys is a Kolkata institution. I had an almond croissant for around 230 rupees. I don't know how much they are at normal Flurys stores but airport food is usually pretty inflated in cost. It was huge and was heated in the microwave. It was light, flaky and had a custard inside. Those who ordered the coffee said it was weak and wasn't very good. Staff members need to coordinate better between the kiosk and dine in sections to minimise queue waiting times.

Flurys at the airport offers a mix of convenience and familiarity, which is valuable if you’re rushing or waiting for flights. But it’s not always consistent with the high expectations one might have from the brand. If you’re okay with paying a premium for location, can manage minor let-downs, it’s fine. If you are looking for full value or the “authentic” Flurys experience, then Park Street or non-airport branches might be better bets.
